Chances for damaging winds and hail are in store for all of southeast Wisconsin, followed by "unusual" heat and humidity.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The chances for severe thunderstorms are expected across southern and southeast Wisconsin with the risk of hail and damaging winds on Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service announced.

Forecasters said there was a 2 in 5 chance of damaging wind and large hail in several Wisconsin counties, including Milwaukee and Waukesha counties, according to a hazardous weather outlook.

There are chances of strong-to-severe storms and high heat away from the lakefront starting at 2 p.m., forecasters said.
