COVID-19 Outbreak At Wisconsin Dells Strip Club; New Data

JUNEAU COUNTY, WI — A coronavirus outbreak has been reported at a strip club located in a popular Wisconsin tourist destination.

According to the Juneau County Health Department, health officials are investigating a COVID-19 outbreak at Cruisin' Chubby's.

Health officials say an outbreak is defined by having two or more confirmed COVID-19 cases within two virus incubation periods, which is 28 days.

New Cases In Wisconsin

According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, there were 385 new COVID-19 cases reported Saturday. That figure is the second-highest increase over the last 14 days. A total of 422 new cases were reported Thursday.

Wisconsin's COVID-19 death toll stands at 744 after 14 more people died related to the virus.

According to DHS figures, of Wisconsin's 24,539 cumulative COVID-19 cases, 4,840 were active. That means about one out of every five COVID-19 cases reported in Wisconsin is considered active.
