Crash And Argument Sparks Shooting Between Drivers In Milwaukee: Cops

A crash between two cars Saturday morning in Milwaukee led to a shooting between the drivers near 35th Street and Marion, police said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — An argument over a crash near Marion and 35th Streets Saturday morning ended with an exchange of gunfire between two drivers, according to police.

Both vehicles were driving on 35th Street but when one tried to turn onto Marion Way, they collided, according to police. The drivers, a 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old man both from Milwaukee, then got out of their cars and shot at each other, police said.

Police said the shooting was not fatal, though officers recovered two guns.

The 24-year-old left the scene and was later brought to a hospital while the 22-year-old left the scene on foot and was later found, according to police.

Police said they took both drivers into custody and that the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office is reviewing charges.
