'Staged' Robbery Led To Fatal Burger King Shooting, Prosecutors Say
A robbery at a Milwaukee Burger King that ended with 16-year-old Niesha Brazell-Harris being fatally shot was 'staged,' a complaint said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Prosecutors said that a man arrested in connection with a fatal shooting, the victim of the fatal shooting and his daughter had 'staged' the robbery of a Milwaukee Burger King before the shooting, a criminal complaint said.
Antoine Edwards, 41, is charged with felony murder, contribution to a juvenile's delinquency that lead to death and felony possession of a firearm, court records showed.
Milwaukee police also arrested a 16-year-old worker, who the complaint said is Edwards' daughter. She told police that the robbery was "staged" to steal money and said that she was in on it, the complaint said.

The Milwaukee Police Department is still looking for Derrick Ellis, 34, who is accused of shooting and killing 16-year-old Niesha Harris-Brazell in a crossfire with Edwards. Ellis, who was an employee at the restaurant, wasn't in on the plot but is being charged with possessing a gun as a felon.
Harris-Brazell's grandmother Ida Lane disputed the complaint. "My granddaughter didn’t have to do nothing but save what she needed or what she wanted. We were trying to instill values in her," Lane told The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
