WISCONSIN — As southeastern Wisconsin digs itself out of Thursday's snowstorm, different parts of the region are finding themselves with different snowfall totals.
The storm swept into the region by the morning and continued into the evening across much of the area. The National Weather Service initially expected anywhere from 6-10 inches with higher totals closer to Lake Michigan.
After the storm, initial NWS data showed the highest concentration of snow cover — about 8 inches — near Franklin and Muskego. The totals varied across other parts of Milwaukee, with higher concentrations further south and less snow further north, NWS data show.
