Rollover Crash In Milwaukee's North Side After Police Chase, Leaving 5 Injured
A car fleeing Milwaukee police ran a red light, hit another car and crashed into an auto lot where it rolled over, police said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A police chase in Milwaukee's northwest side on Wednesday afternoon ended in a rollover crash with five people injured, the Milwaukee Police Department announced Thursday.
Three people in the fleeing car and two other drivers were hurt and taken to local hospitals, police said in a statement. A 17-year-old boy who was arrested was behind the wheel of the car that lost control.
Surveillance footage showed an SUV rolling over and smashing into several cars in an auto lot on N. 76th Street and W. Villard Avenue. The car being chased by police ran a red light and struck another car before skidding into the auto lot, police said.

Police said that a Milwaukee police officer saw the car driving recklessly and tried to stop it around 1:35 p.m. The car didn't stop and police chased it from the 6100 block of W. Capitol Drive to N. 76th Street and W. Villard Avenue.
A gun was found inside of the car after the 17-year-old, who is unnamed, fled the crash. Police arrested the boy shortly after and expect charges from the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
