More Snow Possible Sunday: City-By-City Forecast For Southeast Wisconsin

A cold start to the week follows Sunday's snow chances, with highs in the 30s and lows near freezing.

After a light round of snow Saturday that brought a dusting or a bit more across the region, another round could impact lakeshore areas tonight, this time with the potential for heavy lake-effect snow.

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN — After a light round of snow Saturday that brought a dusting or a bit more across the region, another round could impact lakeshore areas tonight, this time with the potential for heavy lake-effect snow.

The National Weather Service said a lake-effect band may come onshore late Sunday into early Monday, affecting Racine, Kenosha, and possibly far southeast Milwaukee County.

However, meteorologists cautioned it’s also possible the band stays over the lake.

“If the heavy snow does come onshore, several inches of snow may fall over the said locations,” forecasters said. The snow should mostly end by the Monday morning rush hour.

Elsewhere, skies will remain mostly cloudy with occasional flurries. A colder air mass will keep highs in the 30s Sunday and Monday, with overnight lows at or below freezing through midweek.
