MPD Investigates A Pair Of Shootings, One Deadly

Both shootings occurred Monday between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Milwaukee police are investigating multiple shootings Monday.

The first shooting injured two people.

The double shooting occurred on Monday, October 5, at approximately 3:16 p.m., on the 2200 block of W. Vine Street, according to information released by the police.

Unknown suspects fired several shots subsequently striking a residence and two victims.

An 18-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both from Milwaukee, sustained non-life threatening injuries. They walked into a local hospital for treatment, according to police.

Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.

Milwaukee police are also investigating a homicide that occurred on Monday at approximately 5:00 P.M., on the 6400 block of W. Silver Spring Drive.

The victim, a 27-year-old man from Milwaukee, died from his injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
