NCAA March Madness: Watch Badgers Fall To Gators In O/T; Haribo Gummi Bears On Way To Florida To Settle Bet
The Wisconsin Badgers came close but couldn't get past Florida to advance in the NCAA Tournament East Regional.
MADISON, WI — The Badgers ended their season last night at Madison Square Garden in what might be the most exciting finish in the NCAA Tournament.
In the final seconds of overtime, Wisconsin had an 83-81 lead over Florida and it looked like the 8-seeded Badgers were on their way to advance to the Elite Eight. However, Florida point guard, Chris Chiozza had other plans. Chiozza took the ball and made a running 3-point shot right at the buzzer to end the game and send the Badgers home. See video below.
Earlier in the day on Friday, Gov. Walker and Florida Gov. Rick Scott made a friendly wager on the game and Gov. Scott was quick to point out on Twitter that he was looking forward to Gov. Walker settling with him. Walker bet that if the Gators won, he would send Scott some Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery Cheese Curds and Haribo Gold-Bear Gummi Bears.
