New Coronavirus Test Site Opens for Milwaukee County Employees

County Exect David Crowley explained the site is being dedicated for essential workers within the county so they can access tests faster.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI—This week Milwaukee County announced a special testing site for county employees who serve in essential positions.

Those county employees who have been exposed to the coronavirus or who have symptoms of the illness now have access to testing at a new location at Mitchell Park.

County Executive David Crowley explained the site is being opened and dedicated for essential workers within the county so they can access testing quickly and get results faster. He explained this will keep the county running.

Those essential workers include mental health providers, bus drivers, snowplow drivers, and deputies, to name a few.

To qualify for to be tested at the new site at Mitchell Park, you must work at least part-time for Milwaukee County, according to County Executive David Crowley.
