WISCONSIN — As much of the Badger State digs itself out of Thursday night's storm, many may be wondering just how much snow landed in the region, and whether or not it lived up to forecasters' expectations.

Plenty in the greater Milwaukee area found themselves with bigger problems than the snow. Around 100,000 We Energies customers were without service by 8:30 a.m., according to the company's outage tracker. We Energies said the heavy snow caused branches to fall across the region, causing significant outages.

In a Tweet Friday morning, the National Weather Service said the bulk of the snow was already done by 10 a.m. with some light and patchy snow showers lingering into the afternoon.
