Pedestrian From Greenfield Struck, Killed Near 27th And Parnell: Cops
Authorities said a man from Greenfield was killed after a vehicle hit him Wednesday evening near 27th Street and Parnell.

MILWAUKEE, WI — An older adult from Greenfield was killed when a vehicle hit him in Milwaukee near 27th Street and Parnell Avenue Wednesday evening, according to a news release from police.
It happened in the 5600 block of South 27th Street on the far south side around 7:15 p.m., police said. The 71-year-old pedestrian died at the scene of the crash, police said, but the driver of the vehicle that hit him stayed on the scene.
Authorities identified the driver as a 56-year-old man from Illinois.
