Small Plane Crashes Into Lake Michigan Off Racine County, 3 Rescued
The U.S. Coast Guard said the passengers were taken to Milwaukee for evaluation after Thursday's crash.
WIND POINT, WI — The U.S. Coast Guard says three people were pulled from Lake Michigan on Thursday after a small plane went down more than 12 miles off the Racine County shoreline.
The passengers were rescued from the water and are being transported to the Coast Guard station in Milwaukee to be checked out, WISN 12 reported.
Officials have not said what caused the aircraft to go down.
