WISCONSIN — A Wisconsin Republican representative has filed paperwork to enter the governor's race, but pulled his campaign website on Wednesday.

Rep. Timothy Ramthun, who called on other legislators to overturn election results in Wisconsin, promised "an independent full forensic physical cyber audit" of the November 2022 election, regardless of the results, according to an archived campaign webpage.

Ramthun had his sole staffer taken away by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos as punishment for accusing the speaker of supporting the authorization of absentee ballot drop boxes, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
