Cold Front Expected To Bring Strong Winds, Snow Over WI Late Friday: Forecasters

A cold front will cause snowy and windy conditions over roads in southeast Wisconsin this evening. Forecasters urge drivers to slow down.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A cold front is expected to bring brief snow and strong winds, which could disrupt visibility for travelers on Wisconsin roads on Friday evening, the National Weather Service announced.

A hazardous weather outlook was issued for southeast Wisconsin for strong winds up to 50 mph and a brief snow that could create whiteout conditions on roads after 5 p.m., forecasters said.

Snow is expected to accumulate to a half an inch and temperatures will possibly drop into the negative teens at night, forecasters added.
