MILWAUKEE, WI — Voters in the greater Milwaukee area will take to the polls on Tuesday, Aug. 11 for the fall primary election.

Congressional Races

1st District Congress

Josh Pade faces Roger Polack in the Democratic Primary. The winner takes on Republican incumbent Bryan Steil in November.

4th District Congress

Tim Rogers and Cindy Werner face each other in the Republican primary. Tuesday's winner takes on Democratic incumbent Gwen Moore in November

5th District Congress

Republican incumbent Jim Sensenbrenner is not seeking reelection. Fellow Republicans Scott Fitzgerald and Cliff DeTemple are running to replace him. The winner will take on Tom Palzewicz, the lone Democratic candidate on the ballot.

6th District Congress

Matthew Boor, Michael Beardsley and Jessica King area all Democrats running to unseat Republican incumbent Glenn Grothmann.

State Senate

District 6

Incumbent LaTonya Johnson faces Michelle Bryant in the Democratic primary.

District 28

Republican Dave Craig isn't running for reelection. Steve Bobowski, Dan Griffin, Jim Engstrant, Julian Bradley and Marina Croft are running in the primary.

State Assembly

District 8

Incumbent JoCasta Zamarripa isn't seeking reelection. Sylvia Ortiz-Velez and Joanna Bautch are in the Democratic primary. Ruben Velez and Angel Sanchez face off in the Republican primary.

District 9

Democratic incumbent Marissa Cabarera faces Christian Saldivar in the primary.

District 14

Democratic incumbent Robyn Vining will wait to see which Republican primary candidate emerges Tuesday between Bonnie Lee, Linda Boucher and Steven Shevey.

District 17

Mike Brox, Supreme Moore Omokunde and Chris Walton are in the Democratic Primary.

District 82

Republican incumbent Ken Skowronski faces Theodore Kafkas in the primary. Jacob Malinowski and Paul McCreary are in the Democratic primary.
