Woman Shot In Back Of Head While Sitting In Vehicle: Police

A 19-year-old was hospitalized after she was shot on Brown Street in Milwaukee, police said.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A woman was shot in the back of the head while she sat in a car in Milwaukee on Tuesday, police said.

The vehicle was in the 2400 block of West Brown Street when the 19-year-old was shot around 10:15 p.m., according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

Officers found her in the 1100 block of West North Avenue and tried to save her life, before she was hospitalized, police said. Her condition was not known.

As of Wednesday morning, the suspect remained at large, police said.
