Here are the top three stories today in Huntsville:

  1. Today, some residents in Madison County can expect to be without water from 8:00 a.m. to around 3:00 p.m. in the southeast area of the county due to required maintenance. The specific area expected to be impacted are parts of Townsend Drive and Tumpkins Drive. The maintenance should not impact the area past 3:00 p.m. If it does and you have any questions feel free to contact the water department at (256) 746-2888. (WAFF)
  2. The Emmy-award-winning show Bluey is hitting a different big stage this August in Huntsville as "Bluey's Big Play" will be heading to Mark C. Smith Concert Hall for its Huntsville debut. The popular Australian kids show follows the life of the Heeler family with parents Bandit and Chilli and sisters Bluey and Bingo. The show has already made several stops in Australia as well as across the United States while also adding some Canadian and European dates, you can get tickets for the Aug. 22-23 show on Ticketmaster.   3. After winning three contests in a row, Huntsville City FC fell over the weekend to Columbus Crew Two in a 1-0 shutout. Both teams had opportunities to take an early advantage in the contest but came up short in the first half tied at 0-0, Huntsville goalie John Berner had four saves in the first half. After giving up a goal early in the second half Huntsville couldn't keep up unable to score a goal, this is the first time they have been held scoreless since May 5 when they also lost to Columbus 1-0. With players returning from injury and setting their sights on a playoff run in the second half of the season, Huntsville returns to action this coming Sunday to take on New England, you can purchase your ticket here.
