Here are the top three stories today in Huntsville:
- On Wednesday, 10 local nonprofit organizations received grants from the Community Health Initiative program through Huntsville Hospital. The grant awards for this year totaled $600,000 and will fund programs for primary health care, dental care, medication assistance, and mental health care. Community Health Initiative Chair Kerry Fehrenbach explained that grants to local organizations help provide access to medical care for children and families with low incomes. (WHNT)
- Madison County Sheriff's Office and Madison County Police are investigating after a man was stabbed on Williams Circle on Wednesday evening. According to a spokesperson with MCSO, the stabbing incident involved a father and a son. Both were injured, but the father was stabbed several times. Both men were transported to Huntsville Hospital. (WAFF)
- Popular Tennessee Valley magician Steve Trash has announced an upcoming Magic Camp in Huntsville for children between the ages of eight and 12. The camp will take place from Jul. 19 to Jul. 22 at Optimist Recreation Center. Campers will receive a magic kit, and the last day of camp will include a performance for parents to watch their children show off their new magic skills. Click here to learn more or sign up. (WHNT)

- The Huntsville Public Library has announced a new book club for teens that is led by teens at the Monrovia Public Library. The Overbooked book club will meet on the first and third Fridays of each month at 4:00 p.m. This month, members are reading and discussing Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. - Independent Musical Productions will be performing Beauty and the Beast at Lee High School's Main Stage Theatre from Jun. 23-Jun. 25., Jun. 27-Jun. 30, and Jul. 1. Tickets are now available. (Arts Huntsville via Facebook)
