  1. Huntsville police have arrested a 25-year-old man they say fired a gun into a vehicle during a drug-related robbery, ultimately killing a 15-year-old who was sitting in the passenger seat. It happened around 9 p.m. on Sunday near Colfax and Deerfield Roads. Deiondre Gilmore has been charged with capital murder and is currently in the Madison County Jail, where he is being held without bond. (WAFF)
  2. Huntsville City Councilman Devyn Keith has entered a plea of "not guilty" to four misdemeanor shoplifting charges from incidents that authorities say occurred between November of 2022 and February of 2023. The items Keith was accused of stealing include groceries and headphones from two different Walmart locations. The case is being handled by the Madison County District Court. (FOX 54)
  3. Down the road in Madison, a new dog boarding facility, called Dogtopia, will open this spring. Located at 181 Hughes Road, the new 8,000-square-foot facility will let your dog play in a "structured environment where they can socialize, stay active, and have fun," an official press release said. The first 100 customers to enroll their dogs will save 25 percent on program fees. (FOX 54)
