On our weekly call, we discussed Huntsville’s population growth, as outlined in recent Census figures, and workforce initiatives we are involved in.
Ken Smith, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber’s Senior Director of Research & Information Services, discussed the local numbers that show strong growth for all regions of our community. He also notes what specifically makes Huntsville the largest city in the state (city population) and explained what constitutes a ‘metro.’

We also heard from Lyndsay Ferguson, the Chamber’s Vice President of Workforce, about initiatives we are involved in to attract and retain talent. We know this is top of mind across every industry in today’s current environment. Lyndsay shares how we are partnering to ensure that our community has the talent it needs for the jobs of today and for the future.
