Huntsville/Madison County Chamber: Madison County Needing 70,000 People To Get Vaccinated
As of September 2, Huntsville Hospital had 208 in-patients, with 45 in ICU, and 35 on ventilators.

Huntsville Hospital CEO Jeff Samz is urging more people to get vaccinated. Right now, Madison County has 150,000 unvaccinated people with 50,000 being children. Samz says out of the 100,000 adults unvaccinated, he needs to see 70,000 get the vaccine to put our community in a safer percentile.

You can sign up for the vaccine today at huntsvillehospital.org, through your doctors’ office, or at vaccines.gov for an appointment at a local pharmacy. If you know someone who isn’t vaccinated, please urge them to talk with their doctor today.
