Huntsville Police Department: Major Crimes Unit Arrest

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged 24-year-old Chassidy Jacoya White with Murder following a deadly shooting. Officers responded to 3912 Talwell Drive on Wednesday, October 6, and discovered 32-year-old Jabarry Tylon Lavell Keller dead.

HPD Major Crimes Unit Investigators believe Keller was staying at White’s apartment, and a verbal altercation between White and Keller led up to the shooting.

HPD and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office located White at a family member’s home in the Meridianville area of Madison County on Wednesday evening.

White was booked into the Madison County Jail after midnight on Thursday, October 7, on a Murder charge and an unrelated criminal trespass charge.

The investigation continues, and there is no further information to release at this time.
