The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged 32-year-old Francis Richard and 40-year-old Clarence Mann with capital murder following a shooting death on Sunday, September 12.

Officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot in the 200 block of Oakwood Avenue around 3:15 p.m. and located 54-year-old Lewonda Mosley dead in a vehicle.

HPD Major Crimes Unit Investigators charged both suspects with capital murder for the shooting death of Mosley. Both individuals are facing a separate charge of shooting into an occupied vehicle, in which the victim was not injured.
