  1. The Mayor's Bike Ride, now in its 14th year, was held on Saturday, attracting a remarkable turnout of more than 100 participants. This four-mile family-friendly event was organized to celebrate National Bike Month and promote the Healthy Huntsville initiative. Despite recovering from a leg injury, Mayor Battle joined in the ride. (Spot On Alabama)
  2. Following unsportsmanlike conduct, a Huntsville High School softball coach has been dismissed from their position. A video that has been circulating on Facebook captures the ex-coach throwing a trophy intended for the winning team, deviating from the customary practice of the host team's coach presenting the award. (WAAY 31 ABC)
  3. A recently opened shop near downtown Huntsville has taken visitors on a nostalgic journey. Big Mix, a video rental store, not only offers a wide array of films for rent but also sells records and vintage clothing. With its diverse collection, including a dedicated local section showcasing movies filmed in and around Huntsville, Big Mix provides a charming and nostalgic experience for all.
