  1. Radio station WZYP in Huntsville is collecting donations to support relief efforts in Mississippi following a devastating tornado. The station has partnered with the American Red Cross and is collecting donations in the form of monetary contributions as well as essential items such as clothing, non-perishable food, and toiletries. The donations will be sent directly to those affected by the tornado in Mississippi. (WZDX)
  2. A police officer in Huntsville died after being shot in the line of duty, while another officer was wounded and hospitalized. The officers were shot while responding to a domestic violence call on Monday afternoon. The suspect was also fatally wounded during the incident. (AL.com)
  3. The Meta Huntsville data center has donated $90,00 to schools in the area to support education. The donation will be used to fund various educational initiatives, such as STEM programs and other classroom needs.
