OAKLAND, CA — Fire crews in Oakland stayed busy Friday night when a duplex went up in a blaze on the heels of a large warehouse fire earlier in the evening.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries and two dogs died in a fire that struck a residential, two-story duplex in the 1600 block of 78th Street in East Oakland.
The cause of the fire appeared to be fireworks, the Oakland Fire Department said
