Man Shot 9 Years Ago In Oaklad Dies

No arrest has been announced in the case.

OAKLAND, CA —A man who was shot in Oakland nine years ago has recently died, police said Thursday.

The man, who police identified as Aaron Brown, was shot on Dec. 22, 2016 in the 10400 block of Edes Avenue in East Oakland.

Brown was taken to a hospital and survived until Monday.

Police didn't say if he was still in the hospital when he died or what the nature of his injuries were.

No arrest has been announced in the case.
