These Streets Will Be Closed For The Berkeley Half-Marathon

Several streets in Berkeley will be closed to traffic for a half-marathon on Sunday.

BERKELEY, CA — The Berkeley Half-Marathon will take place on Sunday, prompting street closures, parking restrictions and impacting bus services in parts of the city, officials said.

The affected streets include freeway offramps and sections of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Berkeley city officials said. Parking enforcement will begin early Sunday morning, and the first street closure will begin at 5 a.m.

"Make plans to use alternate routes – certain intersections will allow intermittent access at various times throughout the morning," Berkeley city officials said in a statement Monday.
