BERKELEY, CA — Nearly two weeks after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at an event at a university in Utah, Turning Point USA officials announced the company's college tour would continue, including a stop at UC Berkeley.

Kirk, the co-founder of Turning Point USA — a right-wing nonprofit that goes to high school and college campuses to advocate for conservative politics, was shot and killed on Wednesday, Sept. 10, while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University.

His suspected killer, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, led authorities on a short manhunt that ended when a family friend turned him in to law enforcement.

On Friday, Kirk's wife, in her first public appearance since his death, vowed to continue his movement. Turning Point USA announced on social media on Monday that the college tours would continue, with stops at several universities across the country, including Montana State, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech and Utah State.
