UC Berkley Student Shot With 'Orbeez Type' Objects
A person in a black Nissan SUV drove by and shot the student, who was walking, three times with the objects, police said.
BERKELEY, CA — A UC Berkley student was shot with "Orbeez type objects" early Saturday morning, according to a WarnMe alert from the school. Orbeez are soft, water-filled objects about the size of standard marbles.
The student was walking westbound on Bancroft Way at Bowditch Street when a black Nissan SUV drove by, with an occupant allegedly shooting the student three times with the objects. The incident occurred at about 12:38 a.m..
UC Berkeley police are asking that anyone with information about the incident call them at 510-642-6760.
