Woman Dies, 2 Men Hurt In Berkeley Triple Stabbing: Report

Witnesses alerted police several people were lying on the ground and bleeding, NBC Bay Area reported.

BERKELEY, CA — A woman died and two men were wounded in a triple stabbing attack in Berkeley on Saturday afternoon, police told NBC Bay Area.

Berkeley officers, responding to a 911 call for a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Russell Street at around 12:30 p.m., learned from witnesses reports about several people who were lying on the ground and bleeding, the outlet reported.

Both men were listed in stable condition at a local hospital, however, the woman died from her injuries, according to the outlet.

The investigation is continuing, ABC reported.

In a Nixle alert earlier in the day, police had asked residents to avoid the area.
