1.5 Pounds Of Meth Seized In Bay Area Drug Crackdown

Sheriff's detectives sought search warrants and targeted drug sales.

HAYWARD, CA — Alameda County Sheriff's detectives seized 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, two loaded guns, and several replica firearms in an operation targeting meth sales.

The detectives work out of the Eden Township Substation. They conducted two search warrant operations on Aug. 1.

The meth sales were happening in the unincorporated areas of Hayward and San Leandro.

Detectives arrested two suspects on drug and firearm-related charges.
