Police allege a convicted felon hid two guns in the bushes and had another stashed inside his vehicle.

HAYWARD, CA — Officers investigating reports of a shooting in an industrial area of Hayward arrested a felon after finding three hidden guns and drugs, police said Monday.
Police said witnesses pointed them to a man who they allege had been holding a rifle moments before officers arrived. Police searched the man and found what appeared to be narcotics, but did not locate a weapon, investigators said.
According to police, further investigation revealed evidence of gunfire, and police K-9 led officers to two weapons discarded in the bushes and another inside the man's car. Police arrested the man on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a gun and narcotics, along with other weapons-related charges.
