Authorities Searching for 77-Year-Old Woman With Alzheimer's

Silver Alert has been issued for an elderly San Lorenzo woman with Alzheimer's disease who has been missing since Monday morning, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.

Teofila Loida Herrera, 77, was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Monday at her house in the 16100 block of Via Pinale, sheriff's officials said. Herrera was driving a white 2003 four-door Toyota Camry with California license plate No. 5AUA431, according to the sheriff's office.

She has early-onset Alzheimer's and is on medication, sheriff's officials said. Authorities said she is at-risk and has gone missing before.
