Car Fire Extinguished In Castro Valley

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Alameda County firefighters worked quickly to put out a car fire Monday morning in Castro Valley.

The Alameda County Fire Department shared images of white smoke pouring from an SUV sitting in the grass near the 21000 block of Bedford Drive. Fortunately, firefighters extinguished the flames and prevented them from spreading, and officials said no one was injured. The fire's cause remains under investigation.
