Castro Valley Apartment Fire Displaces 11

The fire happened at 4:46 p.m. on Wisteria Street.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA -- Eleven people were displaced Saturday after a fire scorched through an apartment complex in Castro Valley. The fire happened at 4:46 p.m. on Wisteria Street, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

Fire officials said the one-alarm fire at the four-unit complex was controlled within 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
