Castro Valley HS Evacuated After Bomb Threat
Students and staff at the Castro Valley High School were evacuated while authorities searched the campus following a bomb threat on Tuesday.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Students and staff at the Castro Valley High School were evacuated while authorities searched the campus following a bomb threat on Tuesday.
The high school contacted the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office at about 1 p.m. about an anonymous call claiming that explosive devices were on campus.
The Sheriff’s Office sent patrol deputies, detectives, members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team, and trained K-9 units to the school.

They evacuated all students and staff "out of an abundance of caution" and searched the campus.
The investigators found no explosive devices.

School personnel confirmed the report and search. Classes resumed after the search and investigators confirmed they found no bomb during the search.
