Crow Canyon Road Project Prompts Closures Through August
A stretch of the road will be closed to traffic during the day as crews reconstruct the pavement and install new culverts.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A stretch of Crow Canyon Road will remain closed until late summer as county workers complete needed repairs over the coming months.
According to the county's Public Works Agency, the road will be closed to through traffic daily through August as crews reconstruct pavement, replace guardrails and construct three cross culverts.
The closure will be in place between mile marker 5.25 and the county line between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Officials urge drivers traveling between Castro Valley and San Ramon to avoid the construction area and detour onto Interstate 580 and Interstate 680.
