Firefighters Extinguish Highwood Rubbish Fire
The fire was reported Sunday evening but was quickly extinguished upon the arrival of firefighters. No injuries were reported.
A small rubbish fire was quickly extinguished Sunday evening.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire in the side of the house located at 5890 Highwood Road in Castro Valley after 6 p.m. Sunday according to Alameda County Fire Department spokesperson Aisha Knowles.
The fire was extinguished within five minutes of the firefighters' arrival. No injuries were reported.
