Lakeside Laps 5K, 10K, Half Marathon At Lake Chabot: Sign-Up Now

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Get ready for outdoor fun by signing up for the Lakeside Laps Running Event at Lake Chabot on July 20. It will feature a family-friendly Trout Trot 5K, "a good opportunity for first-time runners and families to participate in a fun and healthy outdoor activity together," according to organizers.

A fun Finish Line Festival for participants and their families will follow the running and walking event. It will feature snacks, vendors, photo walls, awards, and more. Food and beverages will be provided by Equator Coffee, Harmless Harvest, and Drake’s Brewing Company.

All race finishers with valid ID will receive a free ice-cold ParkFest Pils by Drake’s Brewing Company at the finish line festival!

Lakeside Laps is a Regional Parks Foundation fundraiser in celebration of the East Bay Regional Park District’s 90th Anniversary, with proceeds going to support East Bay Regional Parks programs.

The Foundation supports environmental stewardship, education and recreation programs, and the acquisition of parklands.
