Smith, a Navy Warrant Officer who served in WWII and is a Pearl Harbor survivor, along with his family, has donated $25,000 to the Castro Valley Veterans Memorial in his honor. These funds are much appreciated and needed. However, we are still in need of donations.

Various donation opportunities are possible for the memorial, sponsored by the Castro Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars (Post 9601).

A $200 donation will allow a veteran to put their name on one of the six memorial service stones. A $100 donation will allow veterans, civilians and businesses to have brick paver at the Memorial.

We also have a location on the Memorial's donor board for people or organizations who donate $1,000 or more to be a bronze donor, $2,000 or more to be a silver donor, and $3,000 or more to be a Gold donor.
