Wild White Turkey: Photo Of The Day
Photographer Anna Schneider loves the wildlife from Lake Chabot Regional Park.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — It's not everyday that someone sees a turkey with white coloring. It is usually caused by a genetic condition called leucism, which stops pigment deposition in feathers, according to the National Wild Turkey Foundation.
Anna Schneider took this photo from Lake Chabot Regional Park, admiring the wildlife and scenic views.
