Woman, 61, Charged with Murdering Her Husband
Robin Frybarger was arraigned in Alameda County Superior Court Tuesday.

HAYWARD, CA — A 61-year-old Hayward woman was charged with murder Tuesday for allegedly fatally shooting her 64-year-old husband at their home on Friday afternoon, police said.
Robin Frybarger was arraigned in Alameda County Superior Court in Hayward Tuesday afternoon in connection with the shooting death of Neal Frybarger at their home in the 28000 block of Thorup Lane at about 12:05 p.m. on Friday.
In addition to murder, Robin Frybarger was charged with a gun enhancement that could add to her state prison sentence if she's convicted. Hayward police said that when they responded to a report of a
domestic dispute at the couple's residence they found Neal Frybarger dead in the garage. Police said witnesses told them that Robin Frybarger was present during the incident but she refused to come out of the home.

She finally exited the home after negotiating with officers for several hours and was arrested. Police said the couple had lived at the home for more than 30 years and no one else was at home at the time of the shooting.
Hayward police said the motivation for the crime is still under investigation and they won't release further details at this time.
