10 Displaced By House Fire: Contra Costa County FPD
Crews remained on scene of the fire until 11 a.m. Wednesday, a fire official said.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA β Two adults and eight children were displaced when their single-family home caught fire Wednesday morning in the Bay Point area of unincorporated Contra Costa County. The one-alarm structure fire was first reported on Anchor Drive near Skipper Road at 9:17 a.m., according to Contra Costa County Fire Protection District spokesman Steve Hill.
Firefighters reached the scene at 9:22 a.m. and they had the fire knocked down by 9:39 a.m.
No injuries were reported, but the American Red Cross is working with the displaced residents to find them shelter.
