8 Displaced, Dog Dies In Concord Apartment Fire
Two apartments were damaged by the blaze at a downtown complex.

CONCORD, CA β A fire at an apartment complex in downtown Concord on Wednesday night displaced eight people and killed a dog, according to Contra Costa Fire Protection District dispatch.
The 1-alarm fire was first reported at 9:08 p.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of California Street.
Two apartments were damaged by the blaze and the American Red Cross has been contacted to help those displaced.
