Body Found In Concord Neighborhood Is Identified

A 50-year-old man was found Thursday morning in the 1600 block of Willow Pass Road. Police believe he died of natural causes.

CONCORD - The body of a man found lying in bushes in a Concord residential neighborhood Thursday morning was identified today by the Contra Costa County coroner’s office as that of 50-year-old Gutierrez Secundino.

Coroner’s officials said Secundino, who was found at 9:51 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Willow Pass Road, was a transient.

He died of natural causes, according to the coroner’s office.

Concord police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said there are no signs of foul play and the man’s death is not being considered suspicious.
