According to the city, Music & Market is a Concord tradition enjoyed by thousands of people each summer who come from all over the East Bay to experience live music by local bands and pick up farm-fresh produce at the farmers’ market.
On Aug. 19, the 925 Band will be performing hit songs ranging from the 1970s to the 2000s.
The Music & Market series runs every Thursday until Sept. 30 at Todos Santos Plaza at the corner of Willow Pass Road and Grant Street in downtown Concord. Parking is free.
The farmers’ market opens at 4 p.m., and concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. Local health officials recommend wearing a face covering outdoors in crowded settings, especially for those who are unvaccinated.
