Fire Injures Concord Car Dealership Employees
The blaze at Lehmer's Concord Buick GMC caused an estimated $100,000 in damage, according to a Contra Costa County fire report.

CONCORD, CA β A fire that injured two workers at a car dealership in Concord on Tuesday started in the maintenance shop while someone was drilling into a fuel tank, fire officials said. The fire was reported at Lehmer's Concord Buick GMC in the 1900 block of Market Street around 5 p.m.
Emergency crews found smoke coming from multiple rollup doors, with a car on fire inside the maintenance shop. Fire sprinklers had already activated and firefighters used hoses to put the fire out within 20 minutes,
according to a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District incident report.
Two workers suffered minor injuries, and the fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage. Four fire engines and an ambulance responded to the fire, according to the report.
