CONCORD-Four people were arrested in Concord in connection with two early morning shootings last week, police said Thursday.

Officers arrested Concord residents Ivan Hunter Jr. and Christopher Bezucha, Pittsburg resident Ladarell Harts and Pleasant Hill resident Richard Tafeamalli on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder for shootings early on the morning of Dec. 21, Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.

Officers responded at 5:38 a.m. that morning to Mi Casa Court on a report that a man had been shot. The man shot was taken to a hospital and is expected to live, police said.

About two minutes later, dispatchers received another call from a victim who said a group of people shot out a passenger window in her vehicle as she was driving south on Oak Grove Road. The victim said she was not injured and she was able to give police a better description of the suspects than the first victim, according to police.

Less than four hours later, a member of the Police Department’s violence suppression unit spotted the alleged suspect vehicle in the 3000 block of Clayton Road.
